Punch For 100 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. water
    3 1/2 lb. sugar
    1 (46 oz.) can orange juice
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 (6 oz.) frozen lemonade
    1 qt. ginger ale
    dash of salt
    food coloring (to desired color)
Preparation
    Boil water and dissolve sugar.
    Add
    all
    other liquids and mix.
    Use any food coloring you like.
    Put
    in
    open
    containers and freeze; use big pickle jars or
    candy jars.
    Leave headspace in jars.
    Will freeze in about 12 hours.
    Set out to thaw.
    Do not add ice, just stir.
