Plain Pastry For Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 tsp. salt
5 to 6 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Sift flour and salt together.
Add shortening.
Mix with hands until shortening is coated.
Add water, distributing evenly.
Use just enough water so particles stick together.
Divide into two balls.
Sprinkle flour on board.
Roll into crust.
Add fruit. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
