Strawberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    2 eggs, separated
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. crushed strawberries (no juice)
Preparation
    Cream together butter, sugar and extract.
    Add 2 egg yolks. Sift together dry ingredients.
    Alternate by adding flour and strawberries to creamed mixture, starting and ending with flour. Beat 2 egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
    Pour into greased and waxed paper loaf pan.
    Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean in a 350\u00b0 oven.
