Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. pecans, chopped fine
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat hard.
    Stir in dry ingredients.
    Then add bananas and chopped nuts.
    Bake in 10-inch
    or 5-inch loaf pan, well-greased.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Loaf will have a tendency to crack on top.
    Cool on rack. Wrap in foil to keep moist.
