Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. jello (cherry or strawberry)
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
    1 large can Mandarin oranges, drained
    1 small can jellied cranberry sauce
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    2 apples, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces, plus 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix jello with 2 cups boiling water.
    Use pineapple juice and enough water to make an additional 2 cups liquid needed to complete package instructions.
    Add pineapple, oranges, cranberry sauce, nuts and apples.
    Mix well and pour in a 9 x 13-inch pan or mold and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
