Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. water
    2 c. fresh broccoli florets, chopped fine
    3 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
    1/4 tsp. pepper (to taste)
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Put butter and onion in 2-quart bowl; cover.
    Micro on High 5 to 6 minutes, stirring once, until onion just begins to brown. Stir in flour to make a smooth paste.
    Gradually stir in water until well blended, then broccoli, bouillon and pepper.
    Cover and micro on High 10 to 12 minutes until broccoli is tender and soup thickened.
    Carefully stir in milk.
    Makes about 4 cups.
