Lemon Squares(Bar Cookie) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Measure flour, butter and confectioners sugar thoroughly. Press evenly in a square pan, 8 x 8 x 2. Bake 20 minutes. Beat rest of ingredients together. Pour over crust and bake 20 to 25 minutes more. Do not overbake. (The filling puffs during baking but flattens when cooled.) Makes 16 bars.
