1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, in syrup (undrained)
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine, cut in thin slices
