Baked Chicken With Almond Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut into pieces
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Dredge chicken in flour mixed with salt and pepper.
    Place chicken, skin side down, in buttered baking dish.
    Melt margarine; pour over chicken. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Turn chicken; bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Pour mushroom soup and water over chicken.
    Sprinkle almonds on top. Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
