Cranberry Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    13 1/2 oz. can crushed pineapple
    6 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
    3/4 c. cold water
    16 oz. can jellied cranberry sauce
    1/3 c. chopped pecans
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    1/2 c. milk
    3 oz. cream cheese, softened
Preparation
    Drain pineapple juice into a measuring cup; reserve pineapple. Add water to juice to make 1 cup liquid.
    Bring liquid to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat.
    When boiling, remove from heat and stir in jello powder; stir until jello is dissolved.
    Add cold water.
    Chill until jello is of the consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
