Banana Cinnamon French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large very ripe bananas
    1 c. low-fat milk
    4 eggs
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    butter
    maple syrup
    8 slices (1-inch thick) whole wheat bread
Preparation
    Blend first 4 ingredients in processor until smooth.
    Transfer to a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Place bread in milk mixture and soak until all liquid is absorbed.
    Melt small amount of butter in a heavy large skillet over medium heat.
    Add bread and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
    Serve, passing syrup separately.
