Whipped Cake Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. granulated sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
3/4 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Beat sugar and shortening until creamy.
Beat flour and milk into paste.
(Important: Heat flour and milk just enough until lukewarm, not hot.)
Add flour and milk paste to sugar and Crisco. Add vanilla.
Beat well.
