Ingredients

1/2 c. dry mustard
1/2 c. vinegar
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Place all ingredients in a 2-quart glass dish and beat slightly with wire whisk.
Cook for 1 1/2 minutes on medium-high heat.
Stir well.
Cook 1 1/2 minutes and beat with whisk.
If slightly thickened, it is done.
Cool slightly and add equal amounts of mayonnaise.
More mayonnaise may be added if desired. This is great for ham sandwiches.
