Crunchy Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    3/4 c. cold water
    1 c. diagonally sliced celery
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onion
    4 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 (6 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
    2 c. diced, cooked turkey or chicken
    1/2 c. sliced almonds
    chow mein noodles
Preparation
    Pour oil in skillet or wok and preheat to 350\u00b0.
    Combine cornstarch, soy sauce and water in small bowl; set aside.
    Add celery to skillet and stir-fry 1 minute; push to side.
    Stir-fry onion 1 minute; push to side.
    Add mushrooms; stir-fry 1 minute. Combine with onion and celery.
    Stir in cornstarch mixture.
    Cook and stir constantly until liquid is thickened, about 2 minutes. Reduce heat to 250\u00b0.
    Add water chestnuts and turkey and stir gently.
    Heat about 3 minutes.
    Stir in almonds.
    Serve over chow mein noodles.
    Serves 6.
