Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. raw peanuts
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 c. cocoa
    4 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 lb. butter, lightly salted
    4 lb. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix cocoa and powdered sugar in a large bowl.
    In a large saucepan, melt the cheese and butter over medium-low heat.
    Stir continually until dissolved. Add vanilla and then pour mixture over cocoa and powdered sugar.
    Add chopped nuts, if desired.
    Mix thoroughly with a large heavy spoon.
    Pour into square pans, two or more.
    Chill and enjoy.
    This makes over 6 pounds of fudge, so you might want to cut it in half.
    But you'll wish you had the other 3 pounds if you do!
