Carrot Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten with 1 Tbsp. water
    2 c. grated carrots
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream margarine with sugar and add egg and water, then carrots.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Mix and spoon into greased 6 to 8 cup ring mold or a casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Serve with meat dishes.
