Baked Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 2 1/2 lb. chuck or beef steak (1 to 1 1/2-inch thick)
1 stick oleo
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 to 1 lb. mushrooms (fresh or can)
Preparation

Arrange a sheet of foil on a shallow pan. Using 1/2 of the oleo, cut in pieces on foil. Place half the onion soup over this. Place steak on top of this. Then the rest of oleo and soup over steak. Lastly, cover mushrooms over all. Fold foil around meat to seal. Bake about 2 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
