Sweetened Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 qt. (4 c.) sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 oz. jar pimentos
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar and oil. Stir until dissolved.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Refrigerate 24 hours.
    This can be added to hot dogs or bratwurst on buns.
