Batter Dipped Fish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. soybean oil
2 lb. fresh cod fillets
1 1/3 c. flour
1 c. water
1 egg
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat oil in deep pan to about 400\u00b0.
Cut fish into 7 x 2-inch wedges.
With mixer, blend flour, water, egg, sugar and salt.
Dip fish into batter, coating well.
Quickly drop into oil.
Fry each fillet until dark golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Drain on metal rack or paper towels.
