Cream Cheese Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine, brown sugar and flour.
    Add 1/2 cup nuts.
    Reserve 1 cup of mixture for topping.
    Pack remainder firmly into ungreased 8 x 8-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Blend 1/4 cup sugar, lemon juice and cream cheese together.
    Beat together egg, milk and vanilla.
    Blend together. Pour this over baked base; crumble cup of topping over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool.
    Cut into squares.
