Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    4 qt. popcorn, unsalted and without unpopped kernels
Preparation
    Melt margarine and add sugar, molasses and salt.
    Boil over medium heat until it reaches the hard boil stage.
    Remove from heat and add baking soda.
    Mixture will triple in size.
    Stir quickly to blend and pour over popcorn.
    Shape into balls with buttered hands.
    Mixture is very hot, work quickly.
