Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts, finely chopped (almonds)
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt (optional)
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add sifted flour.
Mix well.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Pinch off small amount.
Roll between hands and lay on ungreased cookie sheet in the shape of a half moon.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool for 6 minutes.
Roll in powdered sugar.
