Hamburgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. or more hamburger
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
2 slices Jewish seeded rye bread
1/2 onion, chopped
2 eggs and milk (to soften)
Preparation

Mix
soup mix with hamburger very thoroughly with fork. Soak bread in a bowl of milk; squeeze most of the milk out of bread. Break
into
small\tpieces.
Add to hamburger mixture. Add chopped
onion
and
mix
again.
Add
eggs and whip into hamburger
mixture\twith fork until completely blended.
Don't worry
about
mashing
up the hamburger; mix thoroughly.
Now, add milk
a
little at a time, until the mixture is tacky and sticks slightly
to
fingers
when
forming
patties.
Fry in butter over high heat
until brown on both sides.
Reduce heat and cook until done.
