Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

4 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 lb. sweet chocolate, grated
3 Tbsp. milk
9-inch pie shell, unbaked
Preparation

Beat yolks slightly; add sugar and beat thoroughly.
Add vanilla, chocolate and milk.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into deep 9-inch pie plate lined with pastry.
Bake 15 minutes at 450\u00b0, then 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Cool, then cover with whipped cream.
