Walnut Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. oleo or butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. walnuts, chopped fine
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
    Add dry ingredients and mix by hand.
    Form into small balls, walnut size, and roll into slightly beaten egg whites.
    Roll into chopped nuts.
    Bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
