Shrimp Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
    2 lb. shrimp
    3 1/2 to 4 c. water
    1 c. rice
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Brown flour, onion, pepper and garlic in shortening. Cook until tender. Add shrimp, tomatoes, water, rice and salt. Cook 25 minutes or until tender.
