Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (not margarine)
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream together the butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs.
    Add dry ingredients and vanilla.
    Stir.
    Dough should be fairly stiff. Divide into 5 or 6 balls and refrigerate several hours.
    Roll out small portions of dough on a floured board.
    Cut in various shapes.
    Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
