German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head shredded cabbage
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Combine cabbage, onion and sugar; let stand 1 hour.
    Mix remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
    Pour over cabbage mixture.
    Cool.
    Will keep several days in the refrigerator.
