Mike'S Favorite Ground Beef And Vegetable Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
2 medium onions, quartered
2 medium cloves of garlic, crushed
1/2 c. hot water
2 Tbsp. minced fresh basil or 1 tsp. dry basil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 medium potatoes with skins
2 medium green peppers, seeded and cut in eighths
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, drained and broken up
Preparation

In a Dutch oven, brown beef, breaking up pieces with spoon. Add onions, garlic, water, basil, salt, pepper and potatoes. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Add peppers and tomatoes; simmer for 10 minutes or until all is tender.
Serve in bowls.
Serves 4.
