Adobo(A Filipino Dish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chicken breasts
    2 lb. pork chops
    1 1/2 c. soy sauce
    1 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
    4 bay leaves
    2 Tbsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch, diluted in 4 oz. cold water
    rice (4 to 6 servings)
Preparation
    Cut up chicken and pork into chunk size pieces.
    Put into large pot along with soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves and pepper. Slow cook, covered, for 1 hour until meat is tender over medium heat.
    Remove meat.
    Add diluted cornstarch to pot.
    Turn heat up to high.
    Stir until thick.
    Remove from heat and place meat back into pot.
    Cook rice.
