Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) bag chips
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well.
In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Add into shortening mixture.
Stir in chips.
Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
