Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. country butter or 2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. sweet milk
    pinch of salt
    6 eggs
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
    Add to creamed mixture alternating with milk.
    Add flavoring.
    Pour into greased and floured large tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until test done.
