Ingredients

1 stick margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
powdered sugar (for rolling)
Preparation

Simmer first 3 ingredients for about 3 to 5 minutes.
Add salt and vanilla.
Pour this mixture over Rice Krispies and nuts. Cool.
Make into 1-inch balls.
Roll in powdered sugar.
