Layered Casper Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 head chopped lettuce
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 small cucumber, chopped
    4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, do not cook
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    chopped cooked bacon
    sliced tomatoes
    8 oz. cheese (grated Cheddar)
Preparation
    Mix mayonnaise and sugar.
    Layer in large glass bowl:
    lettuce, celery, cucumbers, eggs, peas, onions, bacon and tomatoes.
    Spread topping on top.
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
    Refrigerate overnight.
