Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. soda (level)
1 can fruit cocktail
1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 can Pet milk
1 can flaked coconut
Preparation

Beat 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs well.
Drain fruit cocktail. Add soda to the juice from the fruit.
Add the flour to the egg and sugar mixture alternately with soda and juice mixture.
Add fruit cocktail and mix well.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until done.
Frost in pan while hot with 3/4 cup sugar and Pet milk boiled 2 minutes and flake coconut added.
Pour over cake.
