Sunset Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    red and green sugar
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 1/2 c. flour, sifted
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar and blend thoroughly.
    Add vanilla. Blend in flour.
    Form into 4 rolls of about 1 1/2 to 2-inches in diameter and 10 to 12-inches long.
    Roll each log in colored sugar.
    Place on tray; cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Slice thin, about 1/4-inch, and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
    Yield:
    8 dozen cookies.
