Raisin-Oat Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. rolled oats
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1 c. seedless raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, mix melted butter or margarine and brown sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Sift all-purpose flour with baking powder and salt.
    Blend into the sugar mixture.
    Add rolled oats, orange juice, seedless raisins and chopped nuts (optional).
    Mix ingredients thoroughly and spread into a greased 9-inch square pan.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until browned.
    Cut into squares while warm.
