Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. (2 sticks) butter or oleo, softened
1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. Quaker oats
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts (optional)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat oleo and sugar until creamy.
Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
Add flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda and salt.
Mix well.
Stir in oats, raisins and nuts; mix well.
Drop by rounded measuring spoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 10 minutes for a chewy cookie or 12 to 13 for a crisp cookie.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
Makes about 5 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
