Ingredients

1 c. dark brown sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. cold water
1 baked shallow pie shell
1 c. hot water
1/2 stick margarine
2 eggs
Preparation

Mix the sugar, flour and cold water.
Add the hot water and margarine.
Cook 2 minutes on High in the microwave.
Whisk well, then add 2 beaten egg yolks and cook 2 more minutes.
Put in pie shells and make meringue with the egg whites and a small amount of sugar.
Add to pies.
Brown slightly.
