Baked Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 pieces chicken
    1 c. flour
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    salt, pepper and garlic powder
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 onion, sliced
    oil
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Beat egg with milk and set aside.
    Wash and remove skin from chicken; season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    Dredge in flour, one piece at a time.
    Dip in egg mixture and then in cracker crumbs.
    Brown in hot oil (about 1 inch in pan) until golden brown.
    Peel and slice onion; put in bottom of baking pan. Layer browned chicken on top of onion slices.
    Pour the water in the pan and cover pan with foil.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 1/2 hour. Remove foil and bake for 15 more minutes.
