Crusty Honey Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. honey
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 1/2 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat milk, water, honey and butter to 120\u00b0.
    Assemble doughmaker.
    In large mixer bowl, combine 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup whole wheat flour, yeast, egg, salt and warmed milk mixture.
    Mix with doughmaker setting at #12 for 3 minutes. Gradually add remaining whole wheat flour and enough all-purpose flour to form a stiff dough.
    Knead with doughmaker until smooth and satiny, about 4 minutes.
    Place dough in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
    Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
