Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. ice water
1 tsp. vinegar or lemon juice
Preparation

Mix flour, salt and baking powder.
Cut in shortening.
Stir in egg, water and vinegar.
Mix as little as possible.
Handling will make it tough.
Tip for making baked shell: brush crust with diluted egg before cooking and filling.
It will not make crust soggy.
