Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    3 large ripe bananas, mashed
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Beat sugar, shortening and eggs on high speed for 3 minutes. Blend in bananas. Sift flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder into mixture with spoon until well blended.
    Stir in walnuts. Pour into 2 greased 7 3/8 x 3 5/8 x 2 1/4-inch loaf pans.
    Bake for 45 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven. Wrap in plastic wrap when completely cooled.
