Brazil Nut Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. whole pitted dates
2 lb. whole Brazil nuts
1 lb. walnuts
1 pt. candied cherries
1 pt. candied pineapple
3 c. flour
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. double-acting baking powder
12 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix fruit and nuts.
Add flour and mix with hands.
Add slightly beaten eggs with vanilla; mix well. Grease pans, put in wax or brown paper and grease again.
Fill pans 2/3 full.
Bake in 250\u00b0 oven for 2 hours or until done.
Cool, remove paper and wrap. May be wrapped in brandy cloth if desired.
