Dewey'S Mexican Corn Bread With Meat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 303) can cream-style yellow corn
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    4 canned jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Mix the corn meal, eggs, milk, soda, salt and corn together and set aside.
    Saute the beef in bacon drippings.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Prepare and set aside the onion, grated cheese and jalapeno peppers.
