Alta'S Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. popcorn, popped
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook sugar, water, salt and corn syrup to 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 to hard ball stage.
    Add vinegar and vanilla; cook to light or crack stage (270\u00b0).
    Pour over popcorn; lightly mold into balls.
