Barbecue Beef - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 lb. chuck roast
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, diced
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. catsup
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 c. water
salt and pepper
Preparation

Place raw meat in roaster.
Place onion and celery on top of meat.
Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over meat. Cover and roast at 350\u00b0 until beef is very tender or lower heat and slow roast all day.
Remove fat and bone. Shred meat with a fork while still hot.
Return to sauce.
Leftover freezes well.
