Chicken Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. milk
    3 c. chicken broth
    1 c. finely chopped chicken, cooked
    1/2 c. light cream
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in flour. Add milk and cream. Add broth. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and comes to a boil; reduce heat. Stir in chicken and a dash of pepper. Heat again just to a boil. Serve immediately.
    Garnish with snipped parsley and pimento if desired. Serve with warm rolls or breadsticks. Serves 4.
