Maple Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. white sugar
    2 c. maple syrup
    2/3 c. half and half
    1/2 c. chopped nutmeats
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add next 3 ingredients and cook until a soft ball may be formed.
    Add nutmeats.
    Beat until smooth, then pour into buttered dish.
    Let cool, then cut.
