Red Beans & Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. red beans, wash and drain
    cut up smoked sausage (2 handfuls)
    2 large onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 c. white wine
    4 c. water (make sure beans are covered with 2-inches water)
    1/2 tsp. hot sauce (or more to taste)
    1/4 tsp. bitters
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Cook overnight in crock pot.
    If cooking on stove, soak beans overnight before cooking.
    Serve over cooked rice with garlic bread.
